Enquiries and quotations
Submitting an enquiry through our website does not automatically create a contract between you and The Wall Nut.
Following an enquiry, we may arrange a telephone call, consultation or property visit to understand the work required.
Any quotation or proposal we provide will be based on the information available to us at the time.
A quotation may be subject to change where additional work, unforeseen conditions or changes requested by the customer arise.
Surveys and property information
Before work begins, we may need to inspect the property and understand the condition of the relevant areas.
You are responsible for providing accurate information about the property and informing us of any known issues that may affect the proposed work.
This may include information about:
Structural issues
Damp or water damage
Existing plumbing or electrical installations
Access restrictions
Previous alterations
Planning or building-control matters known to you
Where appropriate, additional investigation may be required before work can proceed.
Changes to the agreed work
If you request additional work or changes after a project has been agreed, this may result in additional costs or changes to the estimated completion date.
We will discuss significant changes with you before carrying out the additional work where reasonably practicable.
Access to the property
You must provide reasonable access to the property at agreed times so that we can carry out the work.
You should inform us of any access restrictions, parking restrictions, building management requirements or other conditions that may affect the project.

Delays in materials
Unexpected conditions within the property
Additional work requested by the customer
Delays caused by third parties
Access problems
Building or structural issues
Unforeseen technical problems
Where delays occur, we will communicate with you and make reasonable efforts to minimise their impact.

Defects and workmanship
We aim to provide services with reasonable care and skill.
If you believe there is an issue with our workmanship, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible and provide details of the issue.
We will assess the matter and, where appropriate, take reasonable steps to correct workmanship issues that are our responsibility.
Cancellation
Where you are a consumer, your cancellation rights may depend on the circumstances of the agreement, including whether the contract was entered into online, by telephone, at your home or at our premises, and whether you have asked us to begin work during any applicable cancellation period.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to remove or restrict any statutory rights you may have under applicable UK consumer law.
Damage to property
We will take reasonable care when carrying out work at your property.
